Rose Bud Tea has a delicate flavor and it's great for an afternoon tea with your girlfriends, a rainy day with a book, after a good workout or at the end of a hectic day to relax. It's a lady's tea and has been enjoyed by many women since the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) for a variety of health benefits.
If you like the scent of roses you will love this tea. And it is sooooo beautiful!
It is recommended to steep 3 or 4 buds for a cup but at times I make mine with 5 or 6 buds.
Add water at 195 - 200 degrees Fahrenheit (90 - 95 Celsius).
Steep for 3 to 5 minutes.
You can steep the buds again for at least 3 more times. Increase steeping time after each use.
Use an infuser mug or a teapot. You can also place the rose buds in your teacup and scoop them after the desired steeping time. To get the most out of the tea cover the teacup during the steeping process.
You can buy rose bud tea from a variety of sites. Just goggle it. I buy mine at a local Chinese Tea House.
