It has a thick consistency and it goes well with ice cream or cakes.
What You Need:
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 3/4 cups unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 ounces semisweet chocolate, finely chopped
Gather your ingredients
In a medium saucepan over medium heat mix water, sugar, syrup and the cocoa powder.
Keep stirring until it boils.
Turn the heat to the lowest setting and simmer for 1 minute.
Turn off the heat and add the chocolate.
Keep stirring until the chocolate is completely dissolved.
Serve it hot or cold.
