what you need:
- 3 cups almonds about 1/2 kg/1lb
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 1/2 tbsp salt
what to do:
- Preheat oven to 180C / 350F degrees.
- In a bowl, toss the almonds, olive oil and salt to coat.
- Spread the almonds on parchment on a baking sheet. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Watch closely as almonds will burn quickly.
- Remove from the oven and place on paper towel to absorb the excess oil.
- Cool completely before storing.
