Buttered Carrots with Onions

So delicious! If you love steamed vegetables as much as I do you will fell no guilt to indulge in those buttered carrots with onions once in a while.


What You Need:
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups carrots in strips or sliced round
  • 2 tablespoons parsley dry or better yet fresh
  • 1 cup onions cut in strips
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • salt to taste

What You Do:

Melt butter over medium high heat.

Saute the onions until they change color.

Add the carrots and saute about 5 minutes.

Add the sugar and salt.

Add the parsley.

If during the cooking process the carrots get too dry you can add a little bit of water.
