Vegan Tofu Chocolate Mousse





The tofu gives the consistency and texture; the chocolate gives the flavor. 😀


What You Need:

  • 1 package (usually12 to 15 oz) Silken Tofu drained at room temperature
  • 5 oz /150 grams dark chocolate pieces or chocolate chips (Vegan chocolate of your choice)
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons Maple Syrup or sweetener of your choice

Serves 4 to 6 depending on the size of the ramekins.


What To Do:

  1. Melt the chocolate in the microwave or in a double boiler. If using the microwave heat for 30 seconds and stir; continue heating for 15 sec. increments until all melted.
  2. Add it to the other ingredients and blend until everything is well blended and uniform.
  3. Divide into 4 to 6 ramekins depending on the size. 
  4. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
