You only Need:
- 3/4 cup milk (1% and 2% are better)
- 1 banana (frozen or not)
- 1/4 cup dried, frozen or fresh cranberries
- 1/2 cup ice cubes
- sweetener
- 2-3 cubes of frozen apple juice
If you are using fresh cranberries you might want to a sweetener such as honey, dates, frozen apple juice, or a regular sweetener. Fresh cranberries can be bitter as well as sour.
If you are using dried cranberries you might want to rehydrate them.
See How to Rehydrate Cranberries below.
If you don't rehydrate them you will have more hard bits of cranberry in your smoothie, which I quite like it, so I can scoop them with a spoon.
What To Do:
Put everything in the blender.
Blend it to your heart's content.
How to Rehydrate Cranberries
Put 1/4 cup cranberries in a bowl.
Add enough 'boiling' water to cover them and wait 10 minutes.
Ater the 10 min either put the bowl in the refrigerator to cool even more or use it as it is and add ice cubes to the smoothie.
You don't need to drain the water to make the smoothie.
