Sautéed Kohlrabi

Kohlrabi, also called German turnip, is a fantastic source of Vitamin C and antioxidants. You can read more about it on HEALTHLINE.

What You Need:

  • 3 kohlrabi bulbs
  • 1chopped  onion
  • 4 to 5 pressed cloves of garlic
  • 1 tablespoon of shredded ginger
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • fresh parsley to garnish

What To Do:

Peel the thick skin of the kohlrabis (a sharp knife makes it easier) and chop them into 1/5 inch squares.

Place all ingredients into a large skillet and stir well.

Let it stand for about 2 to 3 minutes over medium high heat without stirring until the kohlrabi is browned on one side.

Then stir well and lower the heat.

Keep tossing occasionally until the kohlrabi is soft but not falling apart.

The whole process might take from 15 to 20 minutes depending on how crispy you want your veggies.
