This is a creative way to take your daily dose of protein powder.
what you need:
- 1 scoop protein powder
- 1/2 scoop almond flour
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
what to do:
Preheat waffle iron.
Mix all ingredients. If the mix is too thick add a bit of olive oil until desired consistency.
Spray or brush olive oil on waffle iron and add part of the mixture. The amount will depend on the size of the waffle iron.
I let it cook for about 3 minutes but the time will also depend on the waffle iron.
Note: The waffles are a bit dry so adding honey or cream helps balance the dryness of the waffle.
