Apple Chocolate Mousse

 


A rich but refreshing desert. Perfect for someone who wants to restrict consumption of refined sugars. 


what you need:

  • 2 apples (Gala and Golden Delicious are good options)
  • 80 to 100 gr dark chocolate 75% or more

Optional
  • Add a sweetener of choice.
  • Serve with grated chocolate, whipped cream or nuts.

what to do:

Core, peel and cut the apples in cubes.

Steam the apples for about 10 minutes. Reserve.

Melt chocolate in the microwave or in bain marie.

Add apples and melted chocolate to a powerful blender for better consistency.

Blend until smooth.

Place in ramekins and leave in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
